an experiment in permaculture poetics

Six

forget the future tense

the largest landfill in the world floats

in the principle of least effort

for the weight of the alps on our brain

                            little adding machines

pushing another landscape over the horizon

this is the space just prior

            a single vertebrate

alive, then someone else's

the field's design

right here in the house

Spiral Orb is an experiment in juxtaposition, interrelationships, and intertextuality—a cross-pollination. This opening poem composts fragments from each of the pieces in Spiral Orb Six. Standing also as the table of contents, each line is embedded with a hyperlink to its original poem. Once at each poem, you will find links to the other poems in Spiral Orb Six.
